Question: “God’s blessings Ma-Ryah. This is Becky. I have questions from a couple of people. I was telling Kevin about the wolf that follows his little brother and he became very fascinated with guides and totems. He would like to know if he has any animal guides or totems, what their names are ( if they have any ) and what their purpose is. “ Becky, N.C..

Answer: God’s Blessings. This is Ma-Ryah from the higher realms of God. We shall first speak of animal guides or as they are often referred to in parts of your world, totems. Many human beings align their selves with guides in the form of animals. They do this for many reasons and it usually is because the life journey is able to be assisted by knowing the life of a particular animal. Much is able to be learned by studying the way the animal lives, creates nourishment for self, what cycles of life affect and assist the animal. Do they travel with others of their own breed or are they solitary? Wolves for example travel and live in packs and therefore are seen with someone who is very family oriented. This person will find the ties of family are very strong throughout their lives.

Your son Kevin has with him the energy of two who are seen as animal spirits. One is the snake which in your world is seen as mild and creates little fear when seen. The grass snake is often unseen unless looked for or you happen upon them unexpectantly. The grass snake is able to blend into it’s surroundings easily and is often unnoticed. The grass snake is seen as very shy. So is your son these things.

He also has with him the energy of the otter. The otter is very beneficial for your son to study. This Being is with your son to assist him to know when to be serious and focused as well as to know when to lighten in himself and be playful.

The animal guides spoken of in this way is very different than the Spirit guides who come and present their selves to humans who seek their assistance through the Spiritual practice of Crying for a Vision. The guides who present their self in this way come in response to the ceremony being experienced and walk in a Sacred way with the human as part of a very Sacred part of their lives. They assist the human being to receive knowledge to apply to part of the journey of their life and is very Sacred to the one who receives them. Often the guides received of in this way are not spoken of by the one who receives them. They instead will often create with a physical manifestation to represent this guide in a physical form within your world. For example, the feather of a hawk would become part of the sacred connection in this world to the hawk who came as a guide in response to the Crying for a Vision. The relationship of the human who receives the help and guidance of the hawk is seen and experienced differently in this human, than the way your son is able to see the animal guide who walks with him. As before with the energy of the wolf your younger son called to him self from within a daydream, Kevin’s spirit beings in form of snake and otter have no name except what he chooses to call them.

When an animal guide is seen in the energy of a human in this way it is because the human has an infinity with them ~ a fascination with them and how they live. In this way it means the study of the animal benefits the human with knowledge able to be applied to their own life, to assist the journey and development of the human being. Remember it is different to receive a guide, to draw to your selves an animal guide in this way than it is to receive an animal guide to assist you when the guide comes as a result of the Sacred ceremony of Crying for a Vision. That is all. God’s Blessings.
