Question: “ God’s Blessings Ma-Ryah. I am working on the many shadows in my life. When I am awake, I can usually attribute any physical pain to recent events or thoughts. But there are times when I am sleeping and I am awoken with pains. What steps should I take when this happens? I do not choose to continue with this pain in my life. Thank you for your wisdom on what I can do to remove this pain on a more permanent basis.” L., NJ

Answer: “ God’s Blessings! This is Ma-Ryah from the higher realms of God. First, we shall scan you. As we scan you we do not find any great imbalances within your body. We do find assistance required for sight, some imbalance in the lower jaw area on the right side of face and imbalance found in the glands found within neck right below the jaw line. Congestion also found in lower sinus and some discomfort on right side of forehead extending to just about the middle of your ear. We also find slight discomfort in the lower abdominal area just above the umbilical mark, what you refer to as your stomach. Even if you are aware of thoughts and events that seem to be the cause behind pains within your body, you are also able to have exam by physician in your world to be sure none of it has manifested within the body itself in the form of illness.

And now we shall begin to answer your question. We do commend you on your awareness of knowing events, actions, choices and thoughts do indeed have impact on your body. The human body becomes a storage unit where every thought and experience is recorded. That is why it is important to have awareness of what the different areas of body communicate in general in order to assist your transformations of shadows. When it is the eyes which are affected of course it means quite literally, what are you unwilling or afraid of seeing in your life whether now or in the past, or perhaps what becomes your future? When it is the jaw area, what are you angry about in your life and have chosen to clench and hold back the words? In the gland system of the body, what are you seeking to filter from your life, consciousness and knowing? When it is the stomach area, literally, what is difficult for you to stomach in your life? When the umbilical area is impacted, what is occurring in your life where you are afraid to be you? What is happening in your life in the moment or in the past where you believe you must abandon self and seek to please, appease and seek approval from another or your perceived perception of the expectations of others? Physically what this means specifically for you especially in connection with the jaw and gland area as well as sinus area is your sensitivity to the allergens in your atmosphere right now. Honor and take care of the physical manifestations as well as honoring the esoteric meanings behind the messages of body.

How are you able to remove these pains from your storage unit areas of your body? One way is to become aware of them and the message they hold for you. Allow it to be all right that you may not discover or remember when each thought, experience and choice was planted within you. It would indeed be overwhelming wouldn’t it for you to remember all time, all possibilities as well as all parallel existence on the time continuum? So, some of the reasons will be known, others will not...and that is okay. 

Create a moment in time to spend time with yourself and be sure to keep this commitment to self and for self. If you do not it is indeed very difficult to gain the trust of your inner self. Then either dialog with self in a spoken verbal way, or use the gift of writing and allow your words to be written.  If you choose to speak to self you are able to use a tape recorder to capture your words so the part of the ego self which is used to controlling the access of self is able to be given a different task. You are able to assign to this part of the ego self the instructions to pay attention to your body so no area is over looked in what you seek to know. For the beginning of this, set a time limit you are willing and able to keep to and no matter what, do not shorten this time or extend it. Since the area of body around the umbilical marking is affected and impacted part of what your inner self seeks from you is to see is it able to trust you not to deceive or abandon it, so it is vital to keep your word with self. Choose only one area of body to begin with and to focus upon. Either verbally or in writing, ask every part of self what is being held in this area of your body. You may choose to focus on a more open focus or choose to spotlight the focus by choosing either when you are awake storage pains or when you are asleep storage pains. Then just allow the words to flow, whether spoken or written. Be aware of the desire and indeed often perceived need to control and direct where your thoughts and communication with self goes! Be gentle with self and see it with observation and not judgment. When you become aware of this occurring, gently remind the ego of the assignment you gave to it and begin again. Some times you may find it helps to release what is held by pressing into the area that is creating pain. Do this as gently as possible for your intent is to heal, not to create more harm. Many in your world believe the only way to release long held moments and thoughts is to deeply and painfully press into the area causing pain. It is not necessary...the willingness and commitment to self to know what is held there is enough once this part of you knows it may trust your word and commitment to your self. This part of you may have waited eons for you to remember it and so once the bridge of trust is begun to be built this part of you will joyfully communicate all it has held for you to know and bear witness to self!

When the time allotment you have set arrives, end the communication. If necessary, gently remind the ego self of the words communicated to self in the beginning of the experience of communication to self. Always keep in remembrance the part of ego whose job is to appear to assist you, to appear to align you with the tools for healing and whose job it really is to deceive you and return you full circle to the shadow you are seeking to heal and transform....not in a healing way though, but in a way that will add to it, validate it and justify the reason the shadow is there in the first place! So be very conscious of this part of you. It may communicate in a subtle, seductive way to you...’ just a few minutes more....how can you stop now when you are just getting to the answer you are looking for?...how can you stop now when you are hurt, angry or sad?...just a little more time...can’t you just give yourself a little more time?’....Remember this part of the ego does not choose to truly assist your healing and transformation of shadow...It’s job is to feed and nourish this shadow part of you. Be gentle, focused and consistent and in time you shall reap the rewards of healing and transformation.

The next step is to set aside another moment in time for self and sit with the knowledge and communication you received. Honestly look at it. If taped, listen to the words communicated. Then ask yourself, does this still serve me? Is it still a truth for me? If not, what now is your truth and your choice to know and receive? Communicate that to yourself. Remember to not communicate to the shadow self that you are going to get rid of it. Those words will only add to the shadow part of self and it will seek not to be eradicated and destroyed. Instead, gently and lovingly communicate what you now choose to know and experience and acknowledge how well your ego created upon the script of the fear or shadow. Give it a new directive. Ask it to now bring to your awareness possibilities as well as experiences which will support the choice you now consciously choose to know. When the ego has moments of success in doing just this for you give to it the same amount of energy as you once invested in the shadow. In this way will the shadow ego assist you rather than fight you. Once you have transformed this within self you are now able to go back to the beginning of the exercise and go to another storage area of pain within you and do the same for this part of you.
