Question: “ Dear Ma-Ryah, Many thanks for the thrilling and loving time I spent with you in Cape May. I have a question about my guardian guide, David, whom you described as about 8 years old and appearing now as from Israel 400 B.C. This knowledge has intrigued and puzzled me ~ as I have no children myself, I wonder why my guide is in the form of a child. Is it to keep me lightened up and not so serious and adult-like? You mentioned he is mischievous and I am to be aware of this so we don’t both go “ off the deep end” in terms of 8 year old behavior, like eating a hundred twinkies.

As a larger question, what criteria creates the match of human incarnation and guardian? Thanks for answering. Blessings to all.” Linda K., Hoboken, N.J.

Answer: “ God’s Blessings! This is Ma-Ryah from the higher realms of God. We also did enjoy meeting and speaking with you. There are several reasons why your guide, David, would choose to be seen as an eight year old child rather than as an adult. Most of the reasons are because of what the child energy presents to you. Your work, your passion depends on the gift of imagination and the ability to ‘pretend’ you are other than self. It also depends on your ability to create a presence even when perceived as self. The energy of child assists this to occur since the gift of child holds the knowledge of imagination, inspiration, awe and wonderment. All of these are important to have access to while pursuing your passion. The presence of guide as a child also assists to keep you open to all possibilities. Some times you also have a tendency to “ over think” a moment and have seriousness attached to what you are doing in all aspects of your life. The shadow part of this perception is then able to limit what you do out of fear, worry or concern over whether or not you are perceived through the filter of judgment and criticism. The ability of guide seen as a child assists you not to get stuck within this part of you. The mischievous part of your guide is also a way to encourage you to lighten up so to speak when it appears you may get enmeshed in the fear of being perceived in the way of judgment and criticism. Setting boundaries for self, in an honoring way is also a challenge for you and so David’s mischievous attitude assist you in a non-threatening way to be aware of this aspect of self. He does not use force nor deception. Playfulness rather than mischief is perhaps a more accurate word to use. Awareness of diet and what you choose to eat is also part of his assistance. Some times you become so involved in what you are doing you forget to fuel your physical being and so he shall encourage you to remember by sending a thought to consume what you normally would not choose to consume as fuel, thus bringing your focus to the remembrance of food.

When a Soul chooses to incarnate in a linear perceived moment of time the Being who shall be experienced as Guide is chosen before the Soul’s entrance into that moment in time. Intention of experience is seen and a Being who is able to be most harmonically balanced with the ability to assist the Soul to create within this intention is chosen. Some times the Guide is one who has also had an experience with the Soul when both are present in the physical, together in a moment in time. Other times the Guide is a Being who has not ever experienced the denseness of mass and matter and yet is knowledgeable of the Soul choosing to incarnate. Interaction in Spirit occurs between the two Souls and the bond of Love is strong. Either way is of benefit to the incarnating Soul.

An example of how this works is as follows. We shall create an image of an interaction of Souls, one choosing to incarnate and one choosing to remain as Spirit and Guide. The incarnating Soul chooses to create an experience, a life where the intention of the Soul incarnating is to experience a life where music is the purpose for the incarnation. The incarnating Soul perhaps has had experience already in the physical of creating a desired life involving the gift of music but chose to experience the perceived ability of not being able to obtain success in the pursuit and creation of this chosen gift being seen. This time the Soul incarnating chooses to once again incarnate with the gift of music and being successful as being able to be seen and experienced in the use of this gift. Because in the linear separation of time and experience perceived the incarnating Soul seeks a Soul who is able to connect with Self while it is in the human experience. The Soul remaining in the nonphysical realm creates with the incarnating Soul and they together choose ways which will serve as a reminder for the incarnating Soul of being able to be assisted in the return to the path most able to create and experience success if the incarnating Soul appears to get “ off the right path”. Also what is chosen in the incarnation within the physical realm are the other Souls, perceived as fellow human beings who along the way on the journey of life will appear at vital points of life experiences. These humans appear at the “right” moments in time and assist the incarnating Soul to step further into success. This happens whether the intention of physical experience is perceived as positive or negative. Upon return to Spirit the incarnating Soul reviews the life now seen as past with the Souls involved in this life as well as with the Soul creating as Guide. Through this review is understanding and wisdom gleaned, then able to be applied in a different moment in time to create a different experience yet often similar as to what was just experienced. The incarnating Soul is then able to build further on what is experienced and known within the human experience. All this creates a balance.
