Question: “ Dear Ma-Ryah, I had written to you a few months ago about losing my 2 cats and my 2 dogs in the past few years. You told me at the time I was starting to develop a slight heart problem. That turned out to be very true. I am now on medication for it. I sold my house at the end of June and moved to an apartment in Margate with my 2 cats, Max and Julia. Max’s heart problem is under control right now just like you said it would be. I am writing to you again because since I’ve moved I have been struggling with a very bad depression that I can’t seem to control. I thought leaving that house where I lost my special little friends I would feel better. But so far the change has not helped, in some ways I feel more depressed in the apartment than I did in the house. I am afraid of antidepressant medication because it alters your mind. I am not sure what to do now. I don’t know if it’s the apartment and the new area to live in is making me so sad because I have to take more time to adjust to it or if I should look for another apartment, possibly go back to Somers Point and see if that lifts my depressed mood or just hope things get better right where I live now. Please help me if you have any thoughts on what’s happening to me. Thank you.” Theresa

Answer: “ God’s Blessings! This is Ma-Ryah from the higher realms of God. We are pleased the physicians are able to assist you in balancing your heart and assisting you to feel better.

The animals in your life are, and have been vital to you. Your love and care of them is great. The grief you have for the physical loss of them is also great. Create with honor, respect and compassion for the pain of grief you carry within you. Perhaps you are able to create also a tangible representation of your love for the felines and canines who no longer walk in the physical world with you. You hold many words deep within you in regards to how you interact with the animal kingdom. Perhaps writing about your life with them assists you to create once again moments of peace, balance and happiness, even if no one ever reads the words you write but your self. They are still able to heal you. Create a place within your home to honor the gift of them so each time you see it, you remember the gift of their love in your life, and not only the pain of their leaving. Recognize the depth of your pain requires patience, time to pass and honoring for it to reach a level within you that is not great and at times appears overwhelming.

You are of course able to exercise free will and move yet again, however the sadness you carry moves with you. Honor where you are emotionally and at the same time be aware the Universe creates balance. Also seek moments each day that reflects beauty, balance, harmony and life. Become as aware of these moments as you are of the moments of sadness and pain. This assists you to walk with your grief as well as assists you to walk with happiness once again. The animal kingdom has been easier for you to be vulnerable to and open to receive love from than the human kingdom. You are able to work with this part of your self to see you may also open to the human love which surrounds you also.

Speak with physician to be sure the tincture of Angelica and St. John’s Wort will not adversely interact with the medications you use to assist the balance of your heart. With approval of your physician you are then able to create a cup of tea and add 2 drops of Angelica tincture and 3 drops of St. John’s Wort tincture to the tea. It does not matter what flavor of tea you use so use what is pleasing to you. One cup of tea in this way assists you to help your self move above the depression enough to assist you to not be overwhelmed by your grief and depression. Be sure to do this only with approval of your physician! You are also able to work with the counselors within your world who assist the human being to work with and understand grief. Time is a gift in your world, for it assists the human being to experience moments of creating within the framework of a perceived past, present and future. The perception of time assists the understanding of what is being experienced and creates understanding and perceptions to be known. Know you are loved within the animal kingdom. Also know you are loved by many humans beings, and allow your self to receive this love. It is safe for you to be vulnerable and to once again begin to trust the human beings in your life because of the lessons and gifts of love you have received from the animals you have shared your life with. Know deeply within you that you are Absolutely Loved by the One who creates you.

That is all. God’s Blessings.” Ma-Ryah
